BucketsDAO has a realistic and sustainable approach to get the masses a seat at the table and have influence over the decision-making processes in NBA franchises.
We have spoken directly to NBA officials and current franchise owners and here’s the reality.
The only path forward to becoming more than a community of fans in professional sports is through a partnership that benefits the franchise majority owner and gives insider access and influence to DAO members. Our community needs to transcend the physical and virtual worlds.
That is why, we are offering fans the chance to get courtside seats and/or suites for the majority of remaining games in the 2021-2022 NBA seasons.

What is a DAO?
A Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is an entity with no centralized leadership. In these blockchain-based communities, token holders make the decisions through voting.
Why a minority ownership stake?
After many conversations with various franchises and the NBA, we realized the biggest value add to a team and for the league is that members of the BucketsDAO community could purchase a minority interest in a team. Then the NFT holders could participate and influence the team in a positive way. The NFT holders themselves, however, would NOT have direct ownership, but receive similar perks like access to the owners’ lounge at the arena.
What are non-competitive governance rights?
Non-competitive governance rights are the influence and decision making over franchise actions not related to the team’s competitive strategy. You get to influence and decide kit and merch design, marketing campaigns, arena food & beverage selections, and some other fun perks.
How do I get access to the seats and suites?
Token holders will automatically be entered into a random selection for every game that the DAO has seats and suites for, where they will have the chance to see the game with your fellow BucketsDAO team members. FYI, courtside seats can cost upwards of $20,000 per tickets.
How are you going to raise the funds?
We are going to raise the capital through several tiered NFT drops, in which token holders will get continued access to perks. Don’t worry, we will tell you soon when you can mint a token.
